Contraindications:
Absolute Contraindications:
Chronic arterial diseases of the legs associated with narrowing of blood vessels (aortoarteritis, atherosclerosis, obliterating thromboangiitis, endoarteritis) with systolic arterial pressure below 80 mm Hg.
Relative Contraindications:
A physician should determine suitability in cases of:
- Eczema, pressure sores, open wounds, stasis dermatitis, acute thrombophlebitis.
- Inflammatory and trophic skin diseases with significant microbial contamination.
- Individuals with very sensitive skin.
- Heart and lung failure with signs of circulatory disturbances at rest.
- Diabetes with vascular lesions in the legs.
- Septic phlebitis.
Application:
The duration of wear (long-term or short-term) should be determined by a physician.
How to Put on Your Compression Socks:
- Insert your hand inside the sock, grasping the heel.
- Turn the sock inside out up to the heel.
- Put on the toe and heel sections, ensuring the heel is correctly positioned.
- Gradually pull the sock up your leg.
- Smooth out any wrinkles to ensure even graduated compression.
- Do not pull the top edge forcefully.
