The Otto Bock 28U90 Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) is a lightweight, malleable plastic orthosis designed to correct foot position and provide stability for individuals with drop foot. This AFO passively limits plantar flexion, offering crucial support during the swing phase of gait and improving walking patterns. Indicated for "drop foot" (steppage gait) resulting from insufficient dorsiflexion due to paresis or paralysis of the anterior leg muscles.
