Contraindications:

Absolute Contraindications:

Chronic arterial diseases of the legs with narrowing of blood vessels (e.g., aortoarteritis, atherosclerosis, thromboangiitis obliterans, endoarteritis) with systolic blood pressure below 80 mmHg.

Relative Contraindications:

A physician should determine suitability in the following cases:

  • Eczema, pressure sores, open wounds, stasis dermatitis, acute thrombophlebitis
  • Inflammatory or trophic skin diseases with significant microbial contamination
  • Very sensitive skin
  • Cardiopulmonary insufficiency with signs of circulatory disorders at rest

  • Septic phlebitis

Application:

  1. Insert your hand inside the stocking and grasp the heel.
  2. Turn the stocking inside out up to the heel.
  3. Put on the toe and heel sections, ensuring the heel is correctly positioned.
  4. Gradually pull the stocking up your leg.
  5. Smooth out any wrinkles to ensure even graduated compression.
  6. Do not pull the top edge forcefully. Your doctor will advise on whether long-term or short-term use is appropriate.
