Kolapol KP-2LM, containing lincomycin and metronidazole, consists of 10 bone graft fragments (20x8x1.8mm, 0.15±0.05g). These white or off-white strips (TU 9391-003-77330104-2011) are a biocompatible composition of organic and inorganic components (HA+TCP+collagen) of bone tissue, designed for periodontal regeneration. Kolapol KP-2LM enhances osteogenesis and facilitates periodontal tissue repair. Non-toxic and biocompatible, it doesn’t cause long-term adverse effects (inflammation, allergic reactions) and is neither mutagenic nor immunomodulatory. Indicated for use in the surgical treatment of moderate to moderately severe periodontitis (flap surgeries) with implantation into the bone pocket. Surgical treatment of periodontitis is typically part of a comprehensive approach that may include restorative dentistry.
