Important Information:
Disinfect before first use. After each use, wash thoroughly with hot, soapy water and boil to sterilize. Package contains 3 tubes.
Instructions for Use:
- Wash your hands thoroughly. Position the baby on their back on a flat surface. Bend their knees and bring them towards their tummy. Ideally, have two people; one to hold the baby, the other to insert the tube.
- Lubricate the tip of the tube with petroleum jelly. Do not use oils or creams, which may cause irritation.
- Gently insert the tube into the anus. For newborns, insert no more than 1.5-2cm. For babies over 6 months, up to 4cm, but stop if the baby is distressed or you encounter resistance.
- To check for gas passage, submerge the other end of the tube in a container of water. Leave the tube in place for no more than 10-15 minutes. Gently massage the baby’s abdomen clockwise to enhance the effect.
- To remove, gently rotate the tube and withdraw it slowly. Avoid abrupt removal to prevent injury. Clean the baby and the tube thoroughly after use.
