Title: 50g Guelder Rose Bark (Viburnum opulus) – Horst
Description:
Guelder rose bark (Viburnum opulus) has a long history of traditional use for its spasmolytic, hemostatic, and calming properties. Rich in tannins, resins, saponins, organic acids, and other bioactive compounds, it helps relieve spasms, soothe nerves, and promote blood clotting to stop bleeding. It also increases uterine muscle tone, making it traditionally used for heavy or prolonged menstruation and postpartum bleeding. Guelder rose bark has vasodilatory effects, helping to lower blood pressure and potentially managing early-stage hypertension. Its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties help reduce the severity of inflammatory processes. It’s been traditionally used in the treatment of epilepsy and neurasthenia. Note: Guelder rose bark may inhibit sperm motility and act as a natural contraceptive.
