This fuel-efficient engine features a convenient external fuel tank connection with quick-disconnect connectors, allowing for easy switching between tanks without turning off the motor. Pre-mixed fuel (50:1 ratio – 50 liters of gasoline to 1 liter of oil) is required. Cold-start is simplified with a carburetor air damper, while a cooling system with a thermostat and integrated nozzle maintains optimal operating temperature.
This outboard boasts a user-friendly design. A manual starter with a built-in safety lock (prevents starting in gear) ensures simple operation, and the motorcycle-style twist-grip throttle on the tiller handle offers precise control. The tiller handle also features an emergency stop button with a safety lanyard. Gear shifting (Forward, Neutral, Reverse) is easily managed via a lever on the motor. The robust clamp bracket allows for four adjustable angles of attack and secure locking positions for shallow water operation and lifting the motor completely out of the water.
