Decoction for Renal Colic: Prepare similarly to the infusion, but simmer the herb in boiling water in a double boiler.
Tincture for Hypertension: Mix 1 part herb root with 10 parts vodka or alcohol. Steep in a cool, dark place for 15-28 days. Mix with water or take 35-40 drops with water.
