After use, immediately immerse the bur in a suitable disinfectant solution following the manufacturer's instructions. Avoid phenol-containing disinfectants. Thoroughly rinse with running water and inspect for organic residue; repeat cleaning if necessary. Dry completely.
Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 20 minutes or more, or at 126°C for 15 minutes or more.
