Omega Dent Calcipulpin-F is a protective dental liner formulated with calcium hydroxide and sodium fluoride. This versatile material is indicated for use as a dentin protector in deep caries, accidental pulp exposure, post-pulpotomy procedures, and to reduce sensitivity in teeth prepared for crowns. Calcipulpin-F protects the pulp from harmful microorganisms and toxins while stimulating reparative dentin formation. Its application is crucial in cases of accidental pulp exposure and is also employed in biological pulpitis treatment (pulp hyperemia, early stages of pulpitis in permanent teeth of children). The high-alkaline calcium hydroxide base neutralizes acids from saliva and cements, preventing their penetration to the pulp. The unique formulation includes calcium hydroxide (highest grade), zirconium oxide, fillers, plasticizers, and a paste-forming agent, along with sodium fluoride, all packaged in two 2.5ml syringes with four interchangeable cannulas and a protective container.
