Dr. Lee’s Vitamin Filler: Face & Body Contouring
Dr. Lee’s Vitamin Fillers offer a cutting-edge approach to facial and body contouring, providing significant and prolonged results. Developed by a leading plastic surgeon from South Korea, these innovative fillers utilize a unique blend of polylactic acid (PLA), hyaluronic acid (HA), and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) to deliver exceptional skin rejuvenation and volume restoration.
Key Benefits:
- Long-lasting results: Enjoy noticeable improvements lasting up to 24 months due to the fillers’ gradual, 100% biodegradation.
- Stimulates collagen production: PLA and CaHA powerfully stimulate collagen synthesis, leading to enhanced skin quality and improved longevity of results.
- Versatile applications: Suitable for correcting atrophic skin changes and restoring volume to the face and body.
- Multiple formulations for targeted results: Specific formulations are ideal for various areas and needs:
- Calcium Hydroxyapatite: Ideal for bony areas like cheekbones, jawline, chin, and forehead (bolus injection).
- Polylactic Acid: Effective for skin reinforcement and volume restoration due to age or illness.
- Polylactic Acid + Hyaluronic Acid: Perfect for soft tissue correction and lip augmentation.
Procedure and Aftercare:
Injection is performed using a 21–25G needle or an 18–25G cannula. A 16–18G needle is recommended for drawing the product from the vial. An aspiration test for 10–15 seconds is mandatory.
Due to the high biological activity of these fillers, mild side effects such as redness and swelling (lasting up to 72 hours) may occur. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can help alleviate these symptoms. Full recovery and optimal results are typically seen within two weeks. Fluid retention may occur due to pressure on the lymphatic system; diuretics and/or lymphatic drainage treatments may be recommended. In cases of hypercorrection or incorrect injection, the filler can be dissolved with a large volume of 0.9% NaCl (physiological saline solution). Hyaluronidase is not effective for dissolving these fillers.
Injection Technique:
Employ a spreading technique, such as a fanning technique, to avoid lump formation (nodules).
