What is Spazmaton?

Spazmaton tablets are a combination medication containing metamizole sodium, pitofenone, and fenpiverinium bromide, designed to alleviate pain and spasms associated with:

• Biliary dyskinesia: Addresses pain and discomfort related to abnormal gallbladder function.

How does Spazmaton work?

Spazmaton combines three active ingredients to provide comprehensive pain relief:

• Metamizole sodium: A potent analgesic that reduces pain and inflammation.
• Pitofenone: A muscle relaxant that eases spasms by reducing muscle tension.
• Fenpiverinium bromide: An antispasmodic agent that specifically targets smooth muscle spasms in internal organs.

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults and children over 15 years old: 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day, with a maximum daily dose of 6 tablets.
• Children aged 12 to 15 years: 1 tablet 2-3 times a day, with a maximum daily dose of 3 tablets.
• Children aged 9 to 12 years: 1/2 tablet 2-3 times a day, with a maximum daily dose of 2 tablets.

Important Information:

• Treatment duration should not exceed 3 days.

Overdose:

• Symptoms: Vomiting, confusion, nausea, epigastric pain, impaired liver and kidney function, convulsions.
• Treatment: Gastric lavage, activated charcoal administration, symptomatic therapy. Forced diuresis and alkalization of urine with sodium bicarbonate may accelerate elimination.
