Omega Dent Pulpsepten Paste is a dental medication used for the treatment of gangrenous pulpitis and periodontitis. Indicated for use as a medicated root canal dressing in the treatment of periapical periodontitis, gangrenous pulp, and acute inflammations. It's also effective in treating fistulas, granulomas, and cysts. Pulpsepten boasts a broad range of bacteriostatic action. Dexamethasone in the periapical tissue blocks acute allergic, inflammatory, and painful processes. Neomycin sulfate acts on most bacteria resistant to chloramphenicol, exhibiting a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against many Gram-negative bacteria and cocci. Chloramphenicol also offers a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action against numerous microbial species. Pulpsepten Paste effectively targets bacterial strains resistant to streptomycin, penicillin, and sulfonamides.
