NAN® Hypoallergenic infant formula

NAN® Hypoallergenic infant formula is a special medical-purpose formula designed for the artificial feeding of infants suffering from lactose intolerance. It's suitable from birth as the sole source of nutrition.

NAN® Hypoallergenic provides all the essential nutrients for your baby's healthy growth and development. The absence of lactose helps prevent symptoms of lactose intolerance, especially during or after diarrhea. Easily digestible carbohydrates ensure low osmolarity, promoting good digestion and absorption even during diarrhea.

Live probiotic cultures of Lactobacillus reuteri contribute to the development of healthy gut flora and normalize digestion during and after diarrhea. Nucleotides support rapid repair of the intestinal lining. DHA and ARA, essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, strengthen the immune system and promote brain and eye development.

Contraindications

This formula is not intended for use in cases of galactosemia or glucose-galactose malabsorption, as it contains trace amounts of lactose that some specialists consider significant for these conditions. Not for parenteral (intravenous) use.

Important Note

Breastfeeding is preferable for infants. Mother's milk is the ideal food for babies. Breastfeeding should continue for as long as possible. Consult a healthcare professional before deciding on artificial feeding with infant formula.

Warnings

• Prepare the formula immediately before feeding. Follow the preparation instructions carefully. Do not store or reuse any leftover prepared formula. Always supervise your baby during feeding to prevent choking. Transition to cup feeding as your baby grows.
• Using unboiled water, unsterilized bottles, or improper storage, transportation, preparation, or feeding can have adverse effects on your baby's health.
• This product is made from ingredients sourced from carefully selected suppliers and does not contain genetically modified ingredients, preservatives, dyes, or artificial flavors.

Preparation Instructions

• To preserve the live bacteria count, cool boiled water to approximately body temperature (37°C) before adding the powder.
• Use the enclosed measuring scoop, filling it without compacting the powder. Using an incorrect amount of powder (more or less than indicated in the table) may lead to dehydration or nutritional deficiencies. Do not alter the proportions without consulting a healthcare professional.

Introducing Solids

At this age, it's often recommended to gradually introduce cereals, vegetables, fruits, meat, and fish into your baby's diet. Due to individual differences in children's needs, consult a healthcare professional for advice. If your doctor recommends earlier introduction of new foods, reduce the amount of formula accordingly.
