Mistral Disinfectant (5L) – Broad-Spectrum Cleaning and Disinfection

Description:

Mistral (5L) is a broad-spectrum disinfectant for instruments and surfaces. This clear liquid, ranging in color from light blue to blue with a mild citrus scent, mixes readily with water. It contains 7.5% N,N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)dodecylamine as the active ingredient, along with auxiliary components, fragrance, dye, and water. The concentrate has a pH of 11.0 – 11.8, while a 1% solution has a pH of 10.6 ± 0.6.

Effective Against:

Mistral demonstrates antimicrobial efficacy against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (including Mycobacterium tuberculosis), viruses (including those causing viral hepatitis, HIV infection, and polio), Candida fungi, dermatophytes, molds, and high-risk infectious agents (cholera, plague). It also possesses cleaning properties. Studies have proven Mistral’s effectiveness against SARS (atypical pneumonia), H5N1 (avian influenza), and H1N1 (swine influenza).

Applications:

• Medical Instrument Disinfection & Pre-Sterilization Cleaning: Manual disinfection and pre-sterilization cleaning of medical devices (including surgical and dental instruments, rigid and flexible endoscopes, and related instruments) made of various materials. Also suitable for ultrasonic cleaning of metal medical devices. Pre-sterilization cleaning (without disinfection) of medical devices made of various materials is also possible.
• Disinfection of Equipment and Surfaces: Disinfection of components of anesthesia-breathing apparatus, suction systems of dental units, saliva ejectors, spittoons, dental impressions (alginate, silicone, etc.), dental prostheses (metal, ceramic, plastic), surfaces in rooms, hard furniture, sanitary equipment, external surfaces of devices and equipment, bio-toilet surfaces, linens, dishes, dishwashing items, patient care items, body fluids (blood – including expired and rejected blood – liquor, sputum, vomit, fecal matter, urine, etc.), throat rinsing fluids, rinse water (including endoscopic), food residue, cleaning equipment, rubber mats, medical waste (classes B and C), toys, shoes (rubber, plastic, etc.), and the contents of holding tanks of autonomous and bio-toilets.
• Pharmaceutical & Biotech Applications: Disinfection of surfaces in pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities producing non-sterile pharmaceuticals in cleanrooms of classes C and D. Effective against mold.
• Outbreak Control: Disinfection of surfaces in rooms, hard furniture, sanitary equipment, linens, dishes, patient care items, and medical devices in cholera and plague outbreaks. Suitable for general cleaning.

Packaging:

Available in 1L polyethylene bottles and 5L polyethylene canisters. Sterilization control is achieved using Mistral indicator strips.

Shelf Life:

The product has a 5-year shelf life. The working solution has a shelf life of 30 days.
