The PolySpike aspiration cannula filter is a multi-use device designed for the preparation, administration, transfusion, and withdrawal of solutions from vials and intravenous bags. Featuring a 0.1µm hydrophobic, antibacterial air filter (green coded), it ensures sterile medication handling. Ideal for vials with rubber stoppers and infusion bags, this mini-spike system offers convenient and safe repeated access.

This needleless, multi-draw aspiration cannula incorporates a 21mm dual-channel plastic needle for vial septum puncture, protected by a semi-transparent cap. One channel provides a direct pathway between the piercing element and a Luer-Lock connector equipped with a spring-loaded Snap-Lock cap, offering adjustable and secure positions thanks to integrated locking notches. The connector's 6% internal taper ensures a hermetic seal with Luer and Luer-Lock syringes. The second channel allows air intake, enabling complete drug withdrawal from containers of any size. A 0.1µm air filter, positioned on the cannula's side, safeguards the medication against microbial contamination.

Ergonomic ribbed grips ensure comfortable handling. The cannula is resistant to alcohol and lipid-containing solutions and is free of PVC, DEHP, and latex. It withstands pressures up to 1 bar. The device's internal volume is ≤ 0.25ml. The body is white with a green cap. Sterilized with ethylene oxide and individually packaged for single use.
