Meturacol absorbent wound dressing is a resorbable sponge designed for the effective treatment of pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, deep and chronic wounds, and superficial burns. Its high antibacterial activity stimulates tissue regeneration, eliminating the need for removal after healing. Meturacol naturally resorbs within the wound.

Ideal for treating pressure sores, slow-healing wounds, venous leg ulcers, and non-healing wounds, especially in bedridden elderly patients. This sterile, ready-to-use dressing is conveniently packaged for easy transport and storage.

Application:

Cleanse the wound with an antiseptic solution. Apply the Meturacol sponge, extending 0.5-1cm beyond the wound edges. Secure with adhesive or gauze bandage. Change the dressing every 1-3 days, or as needed, based on exudate levels and absorption. For minimal exudate and beginning epithelialization, leave Meturacol in place until it is naturally shed with the eschar. Treatment duration varies (1-15 dressings) depending on wound healing progress. Leave the final dressing in place until it sloughs off naturally.
