The Medtronic MiniMed Quick-Set Infusion Set MMT-397 is a disposable infusion set designed for subcutaneous insulin delivery from Paradigm MMT-712, Paradigm Real-Time MMT-522, Paradigm Real-Time MMT-722, and Paradigm Veo MMT-754 insulin pump reservoirs. Insertion involves using a cannula introducer needle to place the Teflon cannula (9mm length) under the skin; the needle is then removed and discarded. The cannula is secured with a self-adhesive layer and features a safety mechanism for disposal. A thin, 60cm connecting tubing delivers a constant insulin supply from the pump. A convenient disconnect feature with a locking mechanism allows for temporary disconnection (e.g., showering) and includes a protective cap. Each cannula is designed for 2-3 days of use. Compatible with the Quick-Serter insertion device (sold separately).
