Description:

The Medtronic MiniMed Quick-Set infusion set (MMT-399) is a single-use device designed for subcutaneous insulin delivery from MiniMed insulin pump reservoirs. Compatible with Paradigm MMT-712, Paradigm Real-Time MMT-522, Paradigm Real-Time MMT-722, Paradigm Veo MMT-754, and MiniMed 640G insulin pumps, this set ensures reliable insulin administration. Insertion involves using the included insertion needle to place the 6mm Teflon cannula beneath the skin. The needle is then removed and disposed of, leaving the cannula secured with a self-adhesive layer. A built-in safety feature protects the cannula during disposal. Insulin flows continuously through the attached 60cm tubing.

The Quick-Set’s unique disconnect feature allows for temporary tubing detachment (e.g., showering), facilitated by a secure lock. A protective cap seals the cannula during disconnection. Each cannula is designed for 2-3 days of use. For easier insertion, use the Quick-serter, typically included with your MiniMed pump.
