The Medtronic MiniMed Quick-Set Infusion Set (MMT-399A) is a single-use device for subcutaneous insulin delivery, compatible with Paradigm MMT-712, Paradigm Real-Time MMT-522/722, and Paradigm Veo MMT-754 insulin pumps. This 6mm, 60cm set features a cannula inserted under the skin using a (separate) insertion needle, which is then removed and disposed of. The cannula is secured with an adhesive layer and incorporates a safety feature for safe disposal. Insulin flows continuously through a thin connecting tubing. A disconnect/reconnect lock allows for temporary disconnection (e.g., showering), and a cap seals the cannula during disconnection. Each cannula is designed for 2-3 days of use and can be inserted using the optional Quick-Serter (sold separately). Key features include a Luer-lock connector, 90-degree insertion angle, 8mm above-skin cannula height, Teflon cannula material, and a secure disconnect for the tubing.
