Intended Use:

This infusion set is used under a physician’s direction for fluid replacement in cases of dehydration, significant blood loss, detoxification, and when an infusion solution acts as a solvent. The patient should be lying down or sitting during administration.

Instructions for Use:

Before use, close the flow regulator, insert the filter spike into the infusion needle fitting, and secure firmly. Pierce the stopper of the solution vial (bag) with the spike. Carefully open the flow regulator, invert the drip chamber, and wait until it is two-thirds full. Hang the infusion set, invert the solution filter, and wait until the system is filled with solution, releasing any air. Close the flow regulator. Remove the protective cap from the needle and insert it into the vein. Ensure the blood outflow device and infusion needle are at the same level. After blood backflow, slowly open the flow regulator and secure the needle with an elastic band. Adjust the flow rate using the regulator as needed.
