Description

Medi Duomed Class 1 compression stockings offer therapeutic and preventative support for leg health. These economical, closed-toe stockings from the German manufacturer MEDI are suitable for both men and women. Important: Men with significant thigh hair should consider a thigh-high stocking with a secure fastening. Exceptionally durable and supportive, these stockings effectively manage significant swelling, including that associated with lymphedema. Patented Clima Fresh technology incorporates silver ions for a bacteriostatic effect, keeping legs feeling fresh all day. The wide, silicone “drop” band provides a secure, comfortable fit without constriction or slippage.

Indications

Varicose veins (multiple or single dilated veins up to 5cm), multiple spider veins, restless legs syndrome, pregnancy, edema (including post-trauma swelling from fractures or dislocations).

Sizing

Size selection is crucial and based on leg circumference and length, NOT shoe size or clothing size. Refer to the size chart (image #7) for detailed measurements. Note: For feet larger than size 11 (US Men’s), open-toe stockings are recommended.

Contraindications

Trophic ulcers, individual intolerance, inflammatory skin conditions, occlusive vascular disease, severe vascular damage related to diabetes, septic phlebitis, and decompensated cardiopulmonary insufficiency.
