These sterile, vacuum blood collection tubes contain lithium heparin (no gel) and are designed for plasma collection in biochemical analyses. The dry lithium heparin is pre-coated on the inner wall of the tube, activating antithrombins upon mixing with the blood sample to prevent clotting. Subsequent centrifugation efficiently separates plasma from cellular components. Ideal for determining electrolyte levels, blood gas analysis, and blood alcohol content.
