Contraindications:

Absolute Contraindications:

  • Chronic arterial diseases of the legs (e.g., aortoarteritis, atherosclerosis, thromboangiitis obliterans, endarteritis) with systolic blood pressure below 80 mmHg.

Relative Contraindications:

  • Eczema, pressure sores, open wounds, stasis dermatitis, acute thrombophlebitis.
  • Severe inflammatory or trophic skin diseases with significant microbial contamination.
  • Highly sensitive skin.
  • Heart and lung failure with signs of circulatory disturbances at rest.
  • Diabetes with vascular complications in the legs.
  • Septic phlebitis.

Application:

  1. Insert your hand inside the stocking, grasping the heel.
  2. Turn the stocking inside out up to the heel.
  3. Put on the toe and heel sections, ensuring correct heel placement.
  4. Gradually pull the stocking up your leg, distributing it evenly.
  5. Smooth out any wrinkles to ensure graduated compression.
  6. Avoid pulling the stocking forcefully from the top.
