Kumys-Baikal (Kurunga Kumys) is a multifunctional, dry, probiotic, fermented milk product offering preventative, corrective, and restorative effects with significant antimicrobial activity. Made using the EM-Kurunga® symbiotic starter culture, it's fermented from premium, ecologically sound, non-fat cow and mare's milk. Research conducted at Irkutsk State Medical University compared the nutrient composition of milk produced by OOO "Baikal-Biotech" with that of other producers, highlighting its superior nutritional profile.
Kumys-Baikal promotes the normalization of gut microbiota, reducing pathogenic deposits. By restoring the physiological state of the intestinal epithelium, it enhances its protective barrier function and reduces endogenous intoxication. The restoration of saprophytic flora optimizes the synthesis of endogenous vitamins and the physiological absorption of exogenous macro- and micronutrients (dietary components, vitamins, and macro- and microelements including Fe, Ca, Zn, Mg, and other bioactive substances).
