Application:

1. Open the sterile packaging.
2. Apply the pad to the wound, ensuring the medicated side contacts the skin.
3. Cover the wound completely, extending the pad by 2-3 cm beyond the wound edges.
4. Firmly press the pad against the wound for 20-30 seconds, then secure it with a bandage (gauze or tubular) or adhesive plaster.
5. For deep or complex wounds, tightly pack the wound with the hemostatic pad and elevate the affected limb.
6. Once bleeding stops, apply a soft gauze dressing and consider applying cold (avoid prolonged cold application; after 30 minutes, vasodilation may increase bleeding).
