Kloob Chlorhexidine 0.05% is an alcohol-free aqueous hand antiseptic supplied as a pack of 8 bottles, each containing 100 ml of solution. It is formulated for surgical hand preparation, patient skin antisepsis prior to incision, wound and burn irrigation, oral rinsing, and as a prophylactic measure against sexually transmitted infections.

The solution is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Treponema pallidum, Chlamidia spp., Ureaplasma spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Gardnerella vaginalis, Bacteroides fragilis, Trichomonas vaginalis, microbial spores, and viruses. It does not affect acid-resistant forms of Gram-negative bacteria.
