The AS-SD M Right Foot Drop Brace is a high-quality orthosis designed to provide effective support and stabilization for individuals experiencing foot drop. This condition, characterized by the inability to lift the front of the foot, can result from various neurological conditions such as stroke, nerve damage (neuritis), spinal cord injuries (tumors, trauma), cerebral palsy, and more. The brace also proves beneficial for individuals with chronic ankle instability (where surgery is contraindicated), recovering from ankle ligament injuries or surgeries (ligament reconstruction, arthroplasty), and can be used as a night splint.

Indications

Contraindications

• Material allergies
• Lymphedema
• Post-deep vein thrombosis
• Impaired sensation or circulation in the application area
• Ankle flexion/extension contractures (towards the sole of the foot)
• Dermatitis or skin infections in the application area
