- Surgical Hand Antisepsis: Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water for 2 minutes. Dry with a sterile gauze wipe. Apply 5 ml of the solution (at least twice) to dry hands, rubbing into the skin and maintaining wetness for 3 minutes.

- Surgical Fields/Donor Elbows: Wipe the skin twice with separate sterile gauze swabs saturated with the solution. Allow a 2-minute contact time.
- Injection Sites: Wipe the skin in one direction with a sterile cotton swab moistened with the solution. Allow a 1-minute contact time.
