Coletex-ADN Dressing with Derinat and Sodium Alginate: Effective Wound Care Solution
Product Description:
Coletex-ADN dressings, featuring Derinat – a potent immunomodulator and antioxidant derived from sturgeon milt – significantly reduce damage to healthy tissues affected by radiation. Combined with sodium alginate, Derinat minimizes the negative impact of radiation on the skin and accelerates the healing process. These dressings are highly effective not only in treating radiation burns but also various skin injuries, wounds, and pressure ulcers.
Indications:
Coletex-ADN dressings are indicated for:
- Local treatment of trophic ulcers and chronic non-healing wounds (in the absence of purulent-necrotic changes).
- Treatment of injuries following radiotherapy and post-radiation burns.
Contraindications:
Coletex-ADN dressings are contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to any component of the medicinal composition or the textile-biopolymer base.
Side Effects:
Local allergic reactions may occur. If any skin reactions appear, discontinue use immediately.
Application:
Coletex-ADN dressings are designed for prolonged use and can remain on the wound for 48–72 hours. Changes are typically required every 1–3 days, or more frequently if the dressing becomes fully saturated with wound exudate. Before application, treat the wound area with an antiseptic solution. Open the packaging and handle the dressing aseptically. Moisten the dressing with physiological saline (or distilled/boiled water) and apply to the wound, ensuring the medicated side is in contact with the skin. The dressing should extend beyond the wound edges by at least 2–3 cm. To prevent premature drying, cover with a gauze pad and secure with a bandage or plaster. The dressing thickness should not exceed 1 cm. If the dressing dries (after 8–10 hours), causing discomfort, re-moisten it from the outside with saline (or distilled water) 2–3 times daily without removing it.
Storage:
Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature between +5°C and +40°C. Shelf life is 3 years. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
