How to Put on Compression Golf Socks (Manual Application):
- Ensure your nails are trimmed, remove any jewelry, and consider wearing rubber gloves.
- Apply socks in the morning after waking up while sitting with your legs bent at the knees. (Alternatively, lie down with legs slightly bent.)
- Turn the sock inside out up to the heel.
- Insert your thumbs inside the sock, stretching it wide.
- Position the heel of the sock against your heel, securing it in place.
- Create a small fold at mid-foot, grab it firmly, and pull it up towards the instep. Stretch the sock taut, using your thumbs or palms, ensuring it fits snugly around your heel. Continue pulling it up to your ankle, smoothing out wrinkles.
- Continue pulling the sock up in 5cm increments, smoothing out any wrinkles.
- Ensure the heel is correctly positioned. If it shifts, reposition it.
How to Put on Compression Golf Socks Using a Donning Aid (Butler):
- Place the donning aid on the floor, curved part towards you.
- Turn the sock inside out and place it onto the donning aid, heel towards you, toe away.
- Hold the aid firmly to the floor and insert your foot into the sock until your foot touches the floor.
- Ensure the sock heel aligns with your heel.
- Using the handles, pull the sock up to your knee. Remove the aid and manually finish pulling up and smoothing the sock, or continue using the aid to pull the sock completely up. Smooth the sock onto your leg.
Important Notes:
- If the sock isn’t stretched enough, remove it and reapply it, applying more force. Use special gloves if needed.
- Do not cut loose threads or labels to avoid unraveling.
Center Kompress Compression Sock Care:
- While the socks are resistant to creams and ointments, residue build-up can cause wear.
- Hand wash daily in a gentle cycle at a temperature no higher than 40°C (104°F) using pH-neutral detergent.
- Avoid bleaches, chlorine, and fabric softeners.
- After washing, reshape the sock and air dry.
- Do not iron.
- To maintain the silicone grip, wipe the inside with a swab dampened with 30-40% alcohol.
- Store in a dry, clean, well-ventilated area at a temperature of +3°C to +30°C (37°F to 86°F) and 60-65% relative humidity. Avoid direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
