Product Description:
Our medium-stretch compression bandage (8cm x 150cm) is a versatile medical device designed for the prevention and treatment of various conditions. Its elastic properties provide effective compression therapy, aiding in the management of:
- Varicose Veins: Helps reduce swelling and improve circulation in legs affected by varicose veins.
- Sprains & Strains: Offers support and stability to injured muscles and ligaments, accelerating recovery.
- Swelling & Edema: Reduces fluid buildup and promotes lymphatic drainage.
- Post-Surgical Recovery: Supports soft tissues after surgery or liposuction, minimizing swelling and inflammation.
- Injury Prevention: Provides protective support during activities that may cause injury to muscles and joints.
Indications:
This medium-stretch bandage is particularly suitable for treating serious venous disorders, conditions with trophic complications, post-phlebitic syndromes, and treatable lymphedema.
Contraindications:
Individual hypersensitivity to any component of the product.
Care Instructions:
- Hand wash in a mild soap solution at 35-40°C (95-104°F).
- Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Gently squeeze out excess water; do not wring.
- Air dry flat.
- Do not iron.
Application Instructions (For Legs):
- Preparation: Elevate the leg for 5-10 minutes before bandaging. Keep the leg elevated during application.
- Starting Point: Begin at the ankle, wrapping the bandage from the ankle to the base of the toes.
- Application Technique: Continue up the leg (from ankle to calf to thigh), overlapping each wrap by 50-70%. Apply the greatest tension at the ankle, gradually decreasing tension as you move up the leg.
- Heel Support: Secure the heel with a figure-eight wrap to prevent slippage.
- Final Wrap: Extend the bandage 5-10cm above the affected venous area.
- Securing: Secure the end of the bandage with a clip.
Application Instructions (For Arms):
- Initial Wrap: Begin with a full circular wrap around the inner wrist.
- Figure-Eight Wrap: Wrap diagonally downward across the outer wrist, between the thumb and index finger, then across the palm, back to the wrist. Repeat this figure-eight pattern once more.
- Circular Wraps: Wrap the wrist and continue with circular wraps up the arm, overlapping each wrap by approximately half.
- Securing: Secure the bandage above the wrist.
Important Precautions:
The bandage should be snug but not overly tight. Numbness in the toes, throbbing sensations under the bandage, or pain indicate improper compression or the need for re-application. If any of these symptoms occur, remove the bandage and re-apply correctly, or consult a healthcare professional.
