The Ottobock 28L10 Tubingen Infant Hip Abduction Orthosis (Size L) is a specialized device for treating hip dysplasia in children under one year of age. This orthosis is a standard treatment for hip dysplasia in Germany and other European countries. Indicated for hip dysplasia (Graf types IIa and IIb) and unstable or decentered hip joints (types IIc and IId) under the continuous supervision of a pediatrician. Consult your physician before use. The orthosis gently abducts the hips at a 30-45° angle while maintaining a ≥90° flexion angle, promoting healthy hip socket development.
