Khimitek Profhim Universal Antiseptic is a powerful, yet gentle, low-foaming, neutral pH disinfectant solution for versatile applications. This 1-liter bottle provides effective sanitation for a wide range of surfaces and situations.

Uses

• Hand Hygiene: Effective for hygienic hand disinfection (3ml for 30 seconds, or 1 minute for suspected tuberculosis). Surgical hand preparation involves two 5ml applications, rubbed in for 3-5 minutes.
• Surface Disinfection: Ideal for disinfecting and degreasing various surfaces including equipment, furniture, clothing, footwear, and more in medical facilities, and other environments requiring high standards of hygiene. This includes processing surfaces in ambulances and treating elbow creases in blood donors. Suitable for use before catheter insertion and joint puncture.
• Pre-Surgical Skin Preparation: Effectively disinfects and prepares the operative and injection fields.
• Household Use: Recommended for general household use.

Efficacy

Profhim Universal Antiseptic is highly effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

Application

• Hand Disinfection: Apply the recommended amount and rub thoroughly until dry.
• Surface Disinfection: Apply by wiping or spraying. Allow 3-5 minutes contact time, then wipe with a sterile gauze pad before the product dries completely. Approximate usage: 20-40ml per square meter.

Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not apply to open wounds or mucous membranes.
• For external use only.
• In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
• If accidentally ingested, drink several glasses of water with an adsorbent (e.g., 10-15 crushed activated charcoal tablets per glass of water). Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention if necessary.

Storage

Store in a closed container at temperatures between 0°C and +40°C.

Shelf Life

2 years from the manufacturing date, when stored unopened under recommended conditions.
