Each Butterfly IV Cannula features a 21g needle (0.8*19 mm) with a LUER LOCK connection, ensuring secure attachment. The pack contains 100 individually sterile-wrapped cannulas, guaranteeing hygiene and safety for every use. Crafted from fine medical-grade steel, these cannulas boast a triple-bevel grind and silicone coating for virtually painless insertion.

The distinctive “butterfly” design, characterized by wing-like fixation grips, provides a stable and reliable hold for the catheter. Color-coded wings, conforming to international standards, allow for quick and easy identification of needle gauge and diameter. One side of the wings features a textured surface for enhanced grip, while the other displays the gauge size.

Included is a 30 cm transparent, flexible medical-grade PVC tubing, offering extended reach and maneuverability away from the venipuncture site. Butterfly cannulas are available in various sizes, generally smaller than conventional needles, for optimal patient comfort.
