Belak F: Single-Component Fluoride Varnish for Cavity Prevention and Enamel Protection

Belak F is a single-component, white fluoride varnish formulated with potassium fluoride, offering comprehensive protection against dental caries. This preventative solution is ideal for children and adolescents, significantly reducing the risk of cavity development. Beyond prevention, Belak F effectively addresses various dental issues, including:

Application

Application Instructions

1. Thoroughly clean the patient’s teeth.
2. Dry the tooth surface using a cotton swab, ensuring complete isolation from moisture.
3. Dry the surface with a clean air stream.
4. Using a brush, apply Belak F varnish to the tooth surface, avoiding contact with the mucosa. The use of a dental dam and retractor is recommended.
5. Air dry for 3-5 minutes.
6. The protective film lasts 10-12 hours.
7. Instruct the patient to avoid hard foods and brushing for 12 hours after application.

Treatment Regimens

• Cavity Prevention (School Children): Apply to all teeth. Frequency: Twice yearly (mild caries), four times yearly (moderate caries), six times yearly (severe caries).
• Therapeutic Treatment: Apply up to four times, with a 3-day interval between applications.

Storage

Store in tightly closed containers, protected from light, at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C, away from fire and heat sources. Shelf life: 2 years.
