Application Instructions
Putting on the stockings:
By hand:
- Hold the stocking right-side out.
- Insert your hand to the heel.
- Turn the stocking inside out to the heel, creating a funnel shape.
- Turn the heel towards you.
- Insert two thumbs inside the stocking, stretching it wide.
- Pull the heel onto your heel and secure it.
- Grasp 3-5 cm of the stocking.
- Pull the heel section onto your heel.
- In sections (approx. 5 cm), stretch and smooth the stocking onto your leg.
- Gently smooth out any wrinkles.
Using a stocking aid (Butler):
- Place the aid on the floor.
- Hold the stocking with the heel facing you.
- Pull the stocking onto the aid up to the heel.
- Insert your foot, placing your foot on the floor.
- Pull the aid up to the knee.
- Remove the aid.
- Smooth the stocking onto your leg.
- Ensure there are no wrinkles.
Removing the Stockings:
- Grasp the top of the stocking and gently roll it down to the knee, then ankle, and finally the toes.
- Avoid pulling on the waistband; grasp the knitted fabric.
Important Considerations
- If the stocking feels too tight, do not pull it further up. Loosen it and reapply in sections.
- Consider using gloves during application.
- Avoid applying cream or ointment to the area where the silicone band adheres.
- Do not cut loose threads or labels to prevent unraveling.
