Application Instructions
Applying by Hand
- Ideally apply in the morning. Ensure your nails are trimmed and rings are removed.
- Sit on a bed or chair with your leg bent at the knee.
- Place the stocking right-side out.
- Insert your hand to the heel, grasp the heel from inside, and turn the stocking inside out up to the heel, smoothing it out.
- Insert two thumbs inside the turned-out stocking and stretch it wide.
- Pull up the heel section to align it with your heel, securing it by stepping on your heel.
- Create a small fold in the stocking at mid-foot. Grasp it firmly and pull it towards the instep, stretching it wide against your heel (using thumbs or the base of your palms). Wrap the stretched fabric around the heel and pull it up to the ankle, smoothing the edges.
- Continue pulling the stocking up in sections (approximately 5cm), stretching and smoothing out wrinkles. Ensure the heel is correctly positioned. If necessary, reposition it.
Applying with a Butler
- Place the butler on the floor, the curve facing you.
- Hold the stocking, heel facing you.
- Pull the stocking onto the butler up to the heel.
- Insert your foot, placing your foot flat.
- Pull the butler up to your knee.
- Remove the butler.
- Distribute the stocking evenly and smooth out any wrinkles.
Removal Instructions
- Grasp the top of the stocking and gently roll it down to the knee, then ankle, and finally the toe.
- Avoid pulling on the elastic band; grip the knitted fabric.
Important Notes
- If the stocking is not sufficiently stretched, do not pull it up from the top; lower it and stretch it again in sections, more firmly.
- Gloves are recommended during application.
- For ankle-length socks, do not pull them above the kneecap.
- For stockings with a silicone band, do not apply cream or ointment to the area where the silicone band adheres.
- For tights and men’s compression garments, do not attempt to pull up the compression section if it’s not sufficiently stretched, as this may cause seams to burst or runs to form.
- Do not cut off loose threads or labels to avoid unraveling.
- Wear as directed by your doctor. If no instructions are given, wear them in the morning and remove them in the evening.
Care Instructions
Hand wash daily using mild detergents at a temperature of ≤ 30℃. Air dry away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
