Title: Badra Compression Stockings: 20-30 mmHg, Class 2, White (2 Pair)
Description:
Badra Class 2 compression stockings (20-30 mmHg) provide therapeutic compression for the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE). These hospital-grade medical stockings are designed for use before, during, and after surgery, childbirth (including Cesarean sections), and for patients in intensive care or on prolonged bed rest. They are also ideal for post-operative venous therapy and extended periods of immobility. Suitable for both men and women.
Key Uses:
- Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Effective in preventing DVT during and after surgical procedures (up to 45 minutes for patients with a predisposition to thrombosis). Essential for longer procedures and post-operative recovery.
- Childbirth: Recommended for use during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period (3-6 days).
- Intensive Care & Bed Rest: Provides crucial compression therapy for patients in ICU or those confined to bed for extended periods due to illness or injury.
- Long Flights & Prolonged Immobility: Helps mitigate the risk of deep vein thrombosis associated with lengthy periods of inactivity.
Sizing & Application:
Accurate sizing is crucial. Measure your ankle, calf, and thigh circumference (5cm below the groin), and the length from heel to groin crease. Refer to the size chart (included in the product images) for detailed sizing information. For optimal effectiveness, put on stockings in the morning before any swelling occurs. If delayed, rest with legs elevated for 15 minutes prior to application. Stockings should be worn post-operation until advised otherwise by your physician.
Care Instructions:
Daily washing is essential to maintain compression properties. Hand wash only in lukewarm water (30°C or less) with a mild, liquid detergent or shampoo designed for delicate fabrics. Avoid powders and fabric softeners. Rinse thoroughly and gently air dry on a flat surface away from direct heat. Do not wring or machine wash.
Note:
Always consult with your doctor or healthcare provider to determine the appropriate compression level and duration of use for your individual needs.
