AquaSplint Classic Thermo: Custom-Fit Occlusal Splint for TMJ Disorders
Description:
The AquaSplint Classic Thermo represents the latest generation of self-adjusting, factory-made splints designed for the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. This ready-to-use splint offers a quick and easy, custom fit solution for TMJ diagnosis and treatment, eliminating the need for impressions or bite registration. Its innovative design utilizes a water-based hydrostatic system – two water-filled cushions connected by a tube – to provide dynamic pressure adjustment. As muscle tension shifts, water redistributes, creating counter-pressure that realigns the jaw and optimizes load distribution. Thermo-active material pads on the cushions allow for personalized molding to the patient’s unique anatomy, ensuring superior muscle relaxation.
