This 1.4% formic acid solution provides effective localized counter-irritant relief from pain. Its mechanism of action involves stimulating cutaneous sensory receptors, leading to vasodilation and improved tissue trophism.

Indications

Formic acid solution is indicated for the symptomatic relief of neuralgia, arthralgia, myalgia, periarthritis, and non-specific mono- and polyarthritis.

Application

For external use only. Gently rub onto the affected area of skin. Avoid contact with mucous membranes.

Warnings and Precautions

Data regarding the use of this product in pregnant or breastfeeding women is lacking. The safety and efficacy of this product in patients under 18 years of age have not been established.

Packaging

Each 50ml bottle is packaged in an amber glass container sealed with an aluminum or polyethylene screw cap with a sealing element. Each bottle is individually packaged with instructions for use in a cardboard box. Group packaging (cardboard box) containing multiple bottles and instructions is also permissible.
