It may be incorporated into custom water-based skincare formulations such as serums, creams, gels, and emulsions. Due to its limited solubility in water (1.5%-2.5% at room temperature), prepare a diluted stock solution for precise and effective use. Prepare a stock solution: Dissolve 0.5g (2 level scoops, scoop included) EGCG powder in at least 20ml of distilled water (for 2.5% solution). Stir gently at warm temperature (below 45℃/ 113℉) until fully dissolved. Optional: slight wariming (<45℃/ 113℉) can aid solubility; aviod overheating to preserve potency. Incorporate into formulation: Add the desired amount of stock solution to your base formulation during the cool-down phase (below 45℃/ 113℉).
