Active Ingredients & Properties:
Alphadez Oxy contains 6.25% ± 1.25% hydrogen peroxide and 0.23% ± 0.12% peracetic acid, along with other functional components. Its pH is 2.5 ± 0.5. This clear to slightly opalescent, colorless liquid possesses exceptional efficacy against a wide range of microorganisms.
Microbiological Activity:
Alphadez Oxy demonstrates potent bactericidal (including Mycobacterium tuberculosis), virucidal (including Hepatitis viruses, HIV, and Poliovirus), fungicidal (including Candida and Trichophyton), and sporicidal activity. It doesn’t fix to organic matter, ensuring thorough cleaning. While a powerful oxidizer, Alphadez Oxy retains its properties even after freezing and thawing.
Application & Usage:
For HLD of endoscopes and sterilization of medical instruments (IMN), immerse items completely in Alphadez Oxy at a temperature of at least +18°C (+64°F) in a closed, plastic or enamel (damage-free) container. Ensure all channels and cavities are filled, avoiding air bubbles. Maintain a minimum 1cm solution layer above the instruments. The solution is reusable for up to 31 days; replace immediately if discoloration or cloudiness occurs.
Storage & Shelf Life:
Store unopened Alphadez Oxy in a dark place at temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and +30°C (86°F), away from children and medications. The unopened product has a 2-year shelf life; once opened, it remains effective for 31 days.
