Accu-Chek Instant test strips, when used with Accu-Chek Instant glucose meters, accurately measure glucose levels in fresh capillary whole blood from a fingertip, palm, forearm, or upper arm. This system serves as a valuable tool for effective glycemic control monitoring.

Intended Use:

• Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose (SMBG): Accu-Chek Instant test strips are intended for in-vitro diagnostic use by patients with diabetes for self-monitoring of blood glucose levels.
• Professional Use: Accu-Chek Instant test strips are also intended for in-vitro diagnostic use by healthcare professionals. Note: Venous, arterial, and neonatal blood testing should only be performed by qualified professionals.

Default target range: 3.9-8.9 mmol/L

Instructions for Use:

• Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the vial.
• Do not apply blood or control solution to the test strip until it is inserted into the meter.
• Close the vial tightly immediately after removing a test strip to protect the remaining strips from moisture.
• Store unused test strips in the tightly closed original vial.
• Check the expiry date printed on the vial. Do not use expired test strips.
• Store the vial of test strips and the glucose meter in a cool, dry place, such as a bedroom.
• Refer to the enclosed instruction leaflet for more detailed information on storage and system operation.

WARNING:

Do not store test strips in hot, humid environments (e.g., bathrooms or kitchens). High temperature and humidity can damage the test strips.
