Set of 20 Glass Cupping Massage Jars (30-33mm) for Vacuum Therapy
Description:
Experience the ancient healing art of vacuum therapy with our high-quality set of 20 glass cupping massage jars. For centuries, this therapeutic technique has been used to improve circulation, lymphatic drainage, and overall well-being. While traditionally performed with animal horns or clay vessels, modern practice utilizes these convenient and hygienic glass jars.
How it Works:
The jars create a vacuum effect, drawing the skin upward. This gentle suction improves blood and lymph flow, promoting detoxification and tissue regeneration. This increased circulation helps relieve muscle tension, reduce inflammation, and enhance the body’s natural healing processes.
Potential Benefits:
Cupping therapy may be beneficial for various conditions, including:
- Immune system support
- Neuralgia relief (avoid use during muscle spasms)
- Myositis
- Osteochondrosis (in remission)
- Cellulite reduction
- Menstrual pain relief
- Digestive system ailments
Important Considerations:
Before purchasing glass cupping jars, it’s essential to understand the contraindications:
- Tumors of any kind and location
- Severe exhaustion
- Acute infectious diseases and fevers
- Severe vascular sclerosis with a tendency towards thrombosis or hemorrhage
- Neuroses with affective states and seizures
- Cardiovascular diseases
- Purulent and fungal skin lesions
- Second half of pregnancy
Relative contraindications: include unclear diagnoses; post-strenuous exercise or hot bath (allow at least 2 hours rest); infancy or old age (over 80); alcohol intoxication; psychiatric disorders; and patient aversion to the procedure.
Warning: Never apply cupping therapy to the heart, eyes, ears, nipples, or abdomen during pregnancy.
Application:
Cupping jars are placed on the problem area and left in place; they are not moved. The vacuum is created using fire (see instructions below).
Application Instructions:
Cupping is best performed on areas with well-developed muscle and subcutaneous fat. You will need: isopropyl alcohol (or alcohol wipes), petroleum jelly, a towel or sheet, cotton balls, tweezers, glass cupping jars, and matches or a lighter.
Patient Positioning:
The patient should lie prone, supporting their head with a pillow. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the back. Create a wick from cotton and tweezers, saturate it with alcohol, and briefly ignite it. Quickly introduce the flaming wick into the jar for 0.5-1 second, then immediately apply the jar to the skin. Cover with a towel and leave in place for several minutes (depending on the treatment and patient’s condition). Remove the jars and wipe the skin with cotton. Keep the patient warmly covered for 30 minutes post-treatment.
Cleaning:
Wash the jars with water up to 80°C (176°F). If stored below 0°C (32°F), allow them to reach room temperature (+20°C/68°F) for at least 30 minutes before use.
