Sterilization Instructions

Method 1: Boiling Sterilization

1. Pre-cleaning: After each use, thoroughly rinse the syringe with cold running water to remove any medication residue.
2. Cleaning Solution: Prepare a cleaning solution by mixing 50g of detergent, 200ml of hydrogen peroxide (3%), and 9750ml of water. Soak the syringe in this solution for 15 minutes. Use a syringe brush for thorough cleaning.
3. Rinsing: Rinse the syringe thoroughly with running water.
4. Boiling: Wrap the syringe in gauze and place it in a sterilizer filled with distilled water (or filtered, boiled water). Ensure the water completely covers the syringe. Boil for 30 minutes.

Method 2: Autoclave Sterilization

Autoclave at 121°C/134°C according to manufacturer's instructions.

Method 3: Dry Heat Sterilization

Sterilize with dry heat at 180-200°C for 45 minutes. Note that this may affect the longevity of the plastic.

Important Notes

• Always inspect syringes before sterilization. Remove any oily residue with a dry cotton swab and a grease solvent if necessary.
• Distilled water is preferred for boiling sterilization to prevent scale buildup.
• Follow all relevant safety guidelines and regulations for handling medical instruments.
