Sterilization Instructions:

Method 1: Autoclaving

Autoclave at 121°C/134°C according to your autoclave's instructions.

Method 2: Boiling:

1. Pre-cleaning: After each use, thoroughly rinse the syringe with cold running water to remove any medication residue.
2. Washing Solution: Prepare a cleaning solution by mixing 50g of detergent, 200ml of hydrogen peroxide (3%), and 9750ml of water. Submerge the syringe for 15 minutes and scrub with a syringe brush.
3. Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with clean, running water.
4. Boiling: If any oily residue remains, wipe with dry cotton and rinse with a degreasing agent before boiling. Wrap the syringe in gauze before placing it in the sterilizer. Boil in distilled water (or filtered, boiled water) for 30 minutes, ensuring the water completely covers the syringe. Pre-boiling and filtration help prevent scale buildup.
5. Hot Air Sterilization (Alternative): Sterilize with hot air at 180-200°C for 45 minutes.
