Indications

The ORLETT WRS-302 is indicated for the following conditions:

• Sprains and dislocations of the wrist, carpometacarpal, and first metacarpophalangeal joints.
• Post-operative care for thumb and wrist surgeries.
• Ligament and tendon injuries of the wrist, carpometacarpal, and first metacarpophalangeal joints.
• Wrist instability (habitual dislocation).
• Traumatic neuropathies of peripheral nerves (including carpal tunnel syndrome and styloideus tendinitis), radial nerve palsies and pareses resulting from CNS lesions.
• Inflammation of the wrist joint and surrounding soft tissues (arthritis, tenosynovitis, myositis).
• Rheumatoid arthritis affecting the wrist.
• Prevention of flexion contractures of the hand.
