Description:
Opalescent, whitish liquid with a characteristic odor. The main active ingredientBacillus clausii Release formSuspension Dosage 4 billion. spores/5ml Special instructions • If Enterogermina® Forte is used during a course of antibiotic therapy, it is recommended to take the drug between two consecutive antibiotic doses (for example, 2-3 hours after taking the antibacterial drug) • The possible presence of visible inclusions in the Enterogermina® Forte vials is due to spore aggregates of Bacillus clausii, so it does not mean that the drug has changed. • Shake the vial before use. Indications for use Treatment and prevention of intestinal dysbacteriosis and subsequent endogenous dysvitaminosis. Treatment to restore the intestinal microbial flora altered during treatment with antibiotics or chemotherapeutic agents. Method of application and doses ONLY FOR USE! DO NOT INJECT! THE DRUG SHOULD BE DRINKED! Do not take in any other way! Dosage Adults: 1 vial per day. The daily dose for adults is: 4-6 billion Bacillus clausii spores per day. The bottle of Enterogermina® Forte 4 billion/5 ml is indivisible! The attending physician, depending on the patient’s condition, may recommend a daily dosage other than 4 billion / day, which will require the drug Enterogermina® of a different concentration. When prescribing to children, including infants, doses of less than 4 billion Bacillus clausii spores per day, the use of Enterogermina Forte 4 billion / 5 ml in a vial does not allow for adequate dosing, therefore, Enterogermina® containing Bacillus clausii spores at a lower concentration will be required. Method of application Tear off one vial from a tape of vials. Shake the vial. Turn the top of the vial clockwise and tear it off. Pour the contents of the vial into sweetened water, milk, tea or orange juice, or drink the drug without dilution. Use during pregnancy and lactation This drug is not contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Precautions FOR USE ONLY! DO NOT INJECT! THE DRUG SHOULD BE DRINKED! Do not take in any other way! If the drug is used incorrectly, severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylactic shock, may develop. Do not store the drug after opening the vial to avoid contamination of the suspension. Interaction with other drugs No drug interactions resulting from concomitant use with other drugs are known. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the ingredients of the drug. Composition One vial (5 ml) contains: active substance: spores of Bacillus clausii, multiresistant to antibiotics – 4 billion; excipient: purified water – up to 5 ml. Overdose At the moment, clinical manifestations of overdose have not been registered. Side effects The following possible side effects have been identified in post-marketing studies: – allergic reactions: such as rash and urticaria; – diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue: angioedema.
