Name:
Curiosin gel for nar. approx. in tubes 15g per pack. No. 1
Description:
Colorless or almost colorless, transparent gel, practically odorless. The main active ingredient Zinc hyaluronate Form of release Gel Dosage 15 g Pharmacological properties Pharmacodynamics Along with the two main etiological factors in the formation of acne (namely, tissue proliferation in the sebaceous glands and hyperkeratosis of their ducts), the release of biologically active substances produced in response to the presence of the bacterium Propionibacterium acnes is also of great importance . Such changes reduce the content of hyaluronic acid in the affected tissues; an increased need for hyaluronic acid can be corrected by topical application of Curiosin gel. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polymer, mucopolysaccharide, an essential component of the intercellular matrix of connective tissue. Interactions with other molecules and cells, due to its physicochemical properties, make hyaluronic acid a vital component of many biological processes. Hyaluronic acid and water molecules form a dispersion matrix, which is involved in ensuring the elasticity and tone of normal skin. Hyaluronic acid, together with other proteoglycan molecules, acts as a stabilizer of the intercellular matrix of connective tissue. Zinc inhibits P. acnes lipase activity and also has antibacterial properties. Hyaluronic acid and water molecules form a dispersion matrix that fills in tissue defects, serves as an external scaffold for cells, stimulates the activity of granulocytes and macrophages, and enhances fibroblast proliferation and angiogenesis. Unlike the sodium salt, zinc hyaluronate has bacteriostatic properties against various bacterial strains. Pharmacokinetics Data on the pharmacokinetics of exogenous hyaluronic acid are very limited. According to the literature, the content of hyaluronic acid in the serum of healthy volunteers ranged from 10 to 100 µg/L. C has higher values in the morning for physiological reasons, as well as in violation of liver function, and increases with age. Hyaluronic acid is rapidly excreted from the blood plasma and decomposed into low molecular weight components mainly in the liver. After intravenous administration, the half-life (T?) is 2.5-5.5 minutes. The proportion of excretion in the urine is very low (1%), 320 mcg/24 h – as established in a study of 22 healthy subjects. Indications for use Topical treatment of all forms of mild to moderate acne, primarily comedones and papulopustular acne. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in the “Composition” section. Method of application and doses Apply twice a day to the affected areas of the skin with a thin layer after its preliminary cleansing. The drug is absorbed within a few minutes and does not require the use of a bandage. Use in the pediatric population There are no data on the use of the drug in children under the age of 14 years. The method of application of the drug Curiosin gel at the age of 14 years is the same as in adults. Side effectsAt the beginning of treatment, a slight burning sensation and redness are possible, but with further use, these phenomena gradually disappear. Individuals with dry skin types may experience a feeling of tension in the skin, accompanied by a tightening sensation.
